Saudi Arabian Airlines has chosen Aviation Handling Services to provide comprehensive ground handling services for all its flights to and from Queen Alia International airport.
AHS is a strategic partner of international ground handling services company, Menzies Aviation.
The agreement was announced during a reception hosted by AHS-Menzies on November 1 in the QAIA terminal, attended by the Saudi Arabian Airlines management team, airport officials, and various other figures from the private and public sectors.
The agreement reached between both companies included the absorption of Saudi Arabian Airlines’ ground handling staff within AHS-Menzies, which has been operating as an official ground handling entity at QAIA since 2008. AHS-Menzies will provide Saudi Arabian Airlines with a wide range of ground handling services, including organising aircraft movement, cargo handling and myriad technical support services.
Ferdinando Trella, General Manager of AHS-Menzies, said at the ceremony: "We are confident that this agreement will be mutually beneficial and will allow both parties to achieve their desired results.” Adding that the agreement “will further cement our position as a leader in the field of ground handling services in many countries across the world."
